"It's Not Your Fault . . ."

addressed the group with the following:
"Hi.
I am helping a friend work on his research paper about Bipolar.
We are looking for credible sources that say Bipolar is not your fault.
Or something similar to this statement.
We have seen this statement from regular people, but not doctors or
psychiatrists. We are looking for medical professionals saying this
statement.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Mark "

Hi Mark and again, thanks for being so active with this group. You give
a lot of different topics that lead to good discussions that keep this
group active.
You ask for medical professionals to resspond to "it is not MY FAULT to
be
bipolar". Let me get this straight without being a smartass but why
address this group asking for professional advice???
Go to the nearest library or internet under bipolar.com but why here?
What you're gonna get from me (retired nurse) is a lot of WHY. I've
come to accept the fact that I am who I am and I happen to be bipolar
and I am accepting the fact and learning to deal with it.
Not only that, but is it MY FAULT? No!
Hell no! My dad and his sisters were paranoid schizophrenics. I AM
GLAD I suffer only from being bipolar. 20 years of experimenting with
different therapies and drugs, I am lucky to be stable as long as I can
be...
Are you bipolar or are you just stirring up shit ? You know there's a
saying from my great irish grandmother who said, "the more you stir up
shit, the more it stinks".
Your friend and you helping him from this group just is not going to get
it. Medical professionals are at work and sure (as Hell) are not here.
Good Luck finding whatever you are looking for.
